Why Holistic Approaches?

The human body is a complex, finely tuned metabolic system that keeps itself in balance, and therefore healthy. For various reasons, this delicate balance can be lost, and illness results. Regaining health can be a complicated, fearful and confusing process. However, the solution lies in the problem.

"What the mind conceives, the body believes." This is the Mind- Body connection. In illness, the connection may be working against us. The source of the thinking may be unconscious negative beliefs and therefore not easily accessed or changed. The bodies response is adversely affected by the negative beliefs, and may block the healing response. An example might be feeling unworthy and therefore being stuck in an illness response (not deserving to be healthy).

Various healing systems are available. What is needed is to determine what healing message needs to be delivered to your inner mind which will counter the existing negative beliefs. The art is determining the needed message and how to best deliver it. The end result will be an enhanced and more effective Mind-Body communication.
